Is the cutting board one piece of wood? What glue do you use?
Our boards are made of 100% solid acacia wood: solid slabs joined together with a food-safe adhesive, never composite
fillers, particle board or plastic.
That's a deliberate choice. Our acacia is FSC-certified and grown in sustainable plantations, harvested at smaller,
responsible sizes. Joined slabs are also more stable: a single large piece is more prone to warping as it loses
moisture.
The pieces are bonded with FDA-approved, formaldehyde-free, food-safe glue made by a reputable adhesive manufacturer in
Ohio, USA.
