Our board finish has three natural ingredients: unbleached beeswax, flaxseed oil and lemon oil. No mineral oil and no synthetic coatings.
Because the finish is made from natural, food-safe ingredients, the board itself is not a source of BPA or phthalates — those chemicals come from plastics, which we don't use in the board or its finish.
The film that wraps the board in the box is made from corn starch, with no wheat.
