We're sorry this happened. Our glass is durable, but it is still glass, and it doesn't break on its own. Most breaks come from small knocks over time — in the dishwasher, in a lunch bag or against other containers — that slowly weaken the glass until it gives. Because of that, breakage during use isn't covered by our warranty.
To help the rest of your set last:
- Avoid sudden temperature changes, like pouring boiling liquid into a cold container or setting a hot container on a cold, wet surface.
- Don't stack containers inside each other; glass-on-glass contact chips the rims.
- Keep them from knocking against each other in the dishwasher and in bags.
If a container arrived broken in the box, write to help@ziruma.com with your order number and a photo.
